Summer Courtyard Concerts return to Mercure Canberra, with the best seats in the house reserved exclusively for ALL Accor+ Explorer members.

On Saturday, 14 November 2026, Mercure Canberra invites guests to an unforgettable evening beneath the stars, as the Courtyard Gardens come alive with the unmistakable sounds of funk, soul and rhythm.
Headlining the evening is local favourite The Bad Habits, bringing an energetic mix of classic soul, funk grooves and crowd favourites to one of Canberra’s most unique outdoor events. Known for their deep, funky grooves and blistering solos, The Bad Habits are set to deliver a night of soulful sounds and feel-good energy.

For those who love cruisy funk and blues, with influences from Steely Dan, Renee Geyer, Tower of Power, The Meters, Jon Cleary and the Neville Brothers, this is a night not to be missed.

The band will take centre stage on the raised walkway, high above the Courtyard Gardens, creating an intimate yet spectacular concert experience for guests below and those watching from their private balcony rooms.

Guests can enjoy dinner from the comfort of their balcony with a specially themed Room Service menu, delivered straight to their room so they don’t miss a moment of the evening.
The Bar will also be open, offering a range of beverages to enjoy throughout the night, while the full Bistro menu will also be available.

Category A+: AUD 435 total for two guests – SOLD OUT

• These tickets are the best seats in the house. Your private balcony of this upstairs room is on the same level as the stage and you will have full view of the stage from a seated position to enjoy the show in comfort. All members of the band will be facing this direction.

Category A: AUD 415 total for two guests

• These tickets have full view of the entertainment! Your private balcony of this upstairs room is on the same level as the stage and you will have full view of the stage from a seated position to enjoy the show in comfort. Please note that some of the stationary band members may have their backs to you.
  

Category B: AUD 385 total for two guests

• These rooms are located on the lower floor of the hotel overlooking the gardens. From your private balcony you will be able to view the stage from a seated position. Please note that the stage is at a higher elevation to these rooms and whilst the stage will be visible you will be looking upwards.
  

Category C: AUD 295 total for two guests

• These rooms are located on the lower floor of the hotel overlooking the gardens. Your private balcony will have limited to no views of the stage but you will have all the vibes of the show if you want to enjoy the music from the comfort of your hotel room and balcony. 

Category D: AUD 250 for two guests

• Stay the night with us in a superior room and enjoy the show in the gardens on your included general admission tickets for two guests. These rooms are king or twin bedding. Maximum 3 people per room, rollaway and extra general admission ticket AUD 80.

UPGRADE: One additional guest allowed per room for an overnight stay on a rollaway bed at AUD 80 per person. No additional beverages included.

CONCERT DETAILS:

• TIME: 6pm till 9pm
• FOOD & BEVERAGE: Guests with a private balcony can order from the event menu via Room Service, while all guests can enjoy food and beverages in the landscaped gardens while taking in the show. Charges apply for all food and beverage purchases. Menus will be available for pre-order and on the day.
