Section 1 — Competition Period

The Competition commences at 12:00 AM (GMT+7) on 20 August 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM (GMT+7) on 30 August 2025 (“Competition Period”).

Section 2 — Entry to the Competition

To enter, during the Competition Period, entrants must post a comment under the official competition post on the Accor Plus Facebook page.

Entries may be in English or Vietnamese.

Required format for the comment: Share why you would love to stay at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, and include the hashtag #myaccorplus.

Uniqueness: Multiple entries are permitted; however, each entry must be original, unique, and not substantially similar to the entrant’s prior entries or to other entrants’ submissions. Only one (1) winning entry may be awarded per member — the organiser will select the single best entry from any participant (if he/she has submitted multiple valid entries). Duplicate or spam-like entries will not be honoured.

Length guidance: There is no strict word limit; however, we encourage concise and engaging submissions.

Section 3 — Eligibility

Entry is open only to current Accor Plus members residing in Vietnam who are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

Employees of Accor Plus, Accor hotels, their immediate families, and any agencies or third parties directly associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.

Section 4 — Judging and Winner Selection

This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.

All eligible entries will be assessed by a judging panel appointed by Accor Plus. Entries will be judged on sincerity and authenticity, as well as creativity and originality. The judges will look for heartfelt responses that are also engaging and distinctive.

The judges’ decision is final. In the event of any dispute or tie, the judging panel’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Judging will take place between 3–5 September 2025.

Section 5 — Winner Notification and Confirmation

The selected winner will be notified by comment reply under the winning comment and contacted via Facebook direct message within eight (8) business days after the selection date. Accor Plus will leave a comment under the winner’s entry to notify them of selection.

The winner must confirm eligibility by replying to Accor Plus’s message with their Accor Plus membership number (PMID) and a contact email address within three (3) working days of notification. If the winner fails to provide the required details within this period, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be selected.

Section 6 — Prize Details and Conditions

Prize: One (1) prize comprising:

• Stay: A 2-night stay in a Grand Luxury room in the storied Heritage Wing, dating back to 1901, for two guests. The room comes with exclusive Heritage Wing privileges such as: Personalised 24-hour Majordome (Butler) service; Daily breakfast at Spice Garden OR Le Club Bar; Daily Metropole’s iconic afternoon tea and daily evening cocktails at Le Club Bar
• Dining: One 3-course lunch set at Le Beaulieu OR angelina, OR one 5-course Chef Tasting dinner set at Spice Garden, for two guests. (Venue choice is up to guests; Le Beaulieu lunch set menu is available Monday – Friday, while angelina lunch set menu and Spice Garden dinner are available Monday – Sunday)
• Wellness: One 60-minute indulgent spa treatment for two guests at Le Spa du Metropole.
• Activity: Exclusive “Path of History” tour led by the hotel historian, including a visit to the Bomb Shelter that protected guests during wartime air raids. Tours are available daily at 5pm or 6pm.
• Facilities: Full access to the hotel’s leisure facilities, including the four-season outdoor swimming pool and well-equipped fitness centre.
• Special Seasonal Gift: One complimentary mooncake e-voucher (a 6-Piece Metropole Premier Box) valid for on-site pick-up at L’Epicerie or delivery within Hanoi (delivery fee applies), redeemable until 6 October 2025.(Voucher details here)

Estimated prize value: approximately VND 65,000,000 (net). The value is approximate and may vary.

Prize validity: The prize must be redeemed for stays between October 2025 and October 2026, subject to blackout dates and availability. Refer to Accor Plus benefits and exceptions. Blackout dates include, but are not limited to, 24 December – 2 January, Vietnamese Lunar New Year (Tết), public holidays, and special event dates. The mooncake e-voucher is valid for redemption only until 6 October 2025.

Reservation & incidental costs: Advance reservation is required and subject to availability. All incidental costs (e.g. transport, additional meals, beverages, upgrades, surcharges for peak periods, third guest charges, taxes, and travel insurance) are the responsibility of the winner. Accor Plus and the hotel accept no liability for these costs.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. The prize is for the winner and one (1) guest only; both must be aged 18 years or over.

Section 7 — Use of Entries, Intellectual Property and Content Standards

By entering, entrants grant Accor Plus an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish and promote the entry (including photos and videos) in any media for promotional purposes without further compensation. This licence includes the right to capture and reproduce entries originally submitted via DM for announcement and transparency purposes.

Entries must be original and must not infringe any third-party rights (including copyright, trademark or privacy rights). Entries that contain obscene, defamatory, hateful or otherwise unlawful content will be disqualified. Entrants must ensure that any person appearing in a submitted photo or video has consented to its use.
Accor Plus reserves the right to repost or republish any qualifying entry on the official competition post or other Accor Plus channels for promotional or transparency purposes. Accor Plus will not materially alter the core meaning of an entrant’s submission, but reserves the right to crop, resize, format or make minor edits solely for technical or layout purposes.

Accor Plus may request additional information or documentation from an entrant to verify identity and membership status.

Section 8 — Verification and Disqualification

Accor Plus reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify any entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or that is fraudulent, offensive or otherwise inappropriate.

If an entrant is found to have attempted to manipulate the competition (use of multiple accounts, false identities, copying others’ content, etc.), Accor Plus may disqualify that entrant and invalidate their entries.

Section 9 — Privacy

Personal data collected for the purposes of administering this competition will be used in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Accor Plus’s privacy policy. Data will be used only to administer the competition and contact winners.

Section 10 — Limitation of Liability and General

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accor Plus, its officers, employees and agents exclude all liability (including liability for negligence) for any loss or damage arising in connection with the competition or prize redemption.

If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned, Accor Plus reserves the right to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the competition, or to substitute the prize with a prize of comparable value.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Entrants acknowledge that they are providing information to Accor Plus and not to Facebook.
