Helen

Helen represents everything that’s good about Accor Plus. She has been with the company for 18 years, progressing through the ranks with enthusiasm, drive and a positive spirit. Helen started with Accor Plus as a Sales Consultant and is now one of our Renewal Specialists – a vital role that sees her dealing with valued members on a day-to-day basis.

Given her loyalty and service to the company, she is in a unique position to assess the opportunities provided for career progression and is the perfect example of what any of our employees can achieve with the right attitude and work ethic.

Rami

Rami joined Accor Plus in 2006 as a part-time Sales Consultant and has built a successful and rewarding career with the company ever since. 
Throughout his time at Accor Plus, he has held the positions of Senior Club Coordinator and Member Services Manager, and is now the Manager of Marketing and Member Experience for Asia Pacific.

In recent times, Rami was responsible for developing and implementing the company’s new CRM system, NetSuite, which required him to travel to India, Indonesia and Thailand to train Member Services staff on how to use the system. 

“It’s these types of opportunities that make Accor Plus such a great place to work. During my time here, I’ve travelled to lots of incredible destinations, including Fiji, Paris and India, as well as many interstate trips to attend member expos and education workshops.”
Rami continues: “I also organised a trip to Cairns for my Member Services team in 2013 as a reward for exceeding our sales and referral targets. Everyone was so excited!”

“There are so many things I love about working at Accor Plus. I travel all around the world, I get great discounts at hundreds of hotels, and I work with an amazing bunch of friendly and enthusiastic people. I’ve definitely made lifelong friends here at Accor Plus!”

In recognition of his efforts and positive attitude, Rami was named the Accor Plus ‘Ambassador of the Year’ in 2013 and was a finalist for ‘Manager of the Year’ in 2014.

Catherine

Approaching 8 years at Accor Plus, Catherine is one of our most revered and respected employees. She has held a variety of roles within the company, including Call Coach and now Loyalty Sales Consultant.

Over that time, Catherine has achieved many impressive sales goals and targets, such as coaching and training consultants to reach their full potential as well as being awarded as one of the best Sales Consultants in Pacific in 2014.

She highlights the benefits of working in a flexible environment which suits her lifestyle as a single working Mum perfectly, and allows her to still play an active part in her son’s life. In addition to the flexible working hours, Catherine identifies that she enjoys being in charge of her own earning potential and to be able to travel the world using the staff benefits.  

 “I really believe in the product we’re selling to customers. It’s all about great experiences and enjoying the fun things in life. I also love the positive vibe here. We’ve created an open and welcoming culture where we share ideas, celebrate success and have lots of laughs. I can’t imagine there’d be too many workplaces out there that could match it.”

George

As a Senior Club Coordinator, George plays a pivotal role in ensuring both customers and team members enjoy positive experiences and interactions with Accor Plus.
Having previously worked in the Hotel industry, George has become a valuable member of our team, regularly exceeding sales targets as well as motivating those around him at every opportunity. What’s more, he’s received the ‘Outstanding Employee Contribution of the Year’ award in recognition of his ongoing efforts.

“There is such a positive, friendly and motivating feeling at Accor Plus. We all work as a team and support one another as we achieve goals, develop new skills and deliver better customer service year on year.”

George relishes the opportunity to keep growing within the company and believes that the sky is the limit in terms of his earning potential and career prospects. He also enjoys the many accommodation and dining benefits that come with being an Accor Plus employee!

Jayne

When it comes to career success stories, they don’t come much better than Jayne’s!
In 18 years with the company, she has performed a variety of roles and has progressed through the ranks to now hold the position of Operations Manager for Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and Wollongong.

Beginning at Accor Plus as a Loyalty Sales Consultant, Jayne has been a Renewal Specialist, Sales Trainer, Program Manager, Regional Training Manager, National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager SE Asia, Operations Manager for Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Operations Manager for the Pacific region.

This extensive list of positions has seen her play a crucial role in employee recruitment, staff retention, on boarding, training, coaching and mentoring.
Jayne particularly enjoys seeing her peers achieve goals and targets, as well as the fact that a ‘can do’ attitude permeates throughout the company from the top down.

“Everybody works as a team towards common goals – management and staff alike. Success is celebrated, hard work is rewarded and a warm and open culture is encouraged.

Robert

After working in the telecommunications and retail industries for a number of years, Robert made the switch to Accor Plus to follow his passion in travel and hospitality. He is now one of our most successful Loyalty Sales Consultant, responsible for a renewal database of more than 3,000 members. In fact, Robert has been a Finalist in the ‘Loyalty Sales Consultant of the Year’ awards at Accor Plus for the past two years.

He credits much of his success to the training and support he received and continues to receive as his career progresses with the company. In addition to his sales role, he also coaches and mentors other employees in areas such as voice training, goal setting and motivation.

“I love the team culture at Accor Plus and the fact that we have fun while we work. The opportunities to grow and develop are amazing, as are the monetary incentives…there are no limits to what you can earn and achieve.”

Robert believes that anyone can forge a successful career with Accor Plus if they have enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, enjoy being part of a team, and are passionate about selling fantastic products to members.
